Viewing positioning

Postby Zebra400 on Sat Jul 19, 2008 8:23 am

It appears that Spot only displays your position in the last 24 hrs. This means that if you don't send in a position every day, the people on your contact list have no idea where you are. Wouldn't it be better to at least store the last recorded position? I suppose the problem with this is the system would then have to record the date the position was sent.

I also notice that the GPSOZ's mapping vehicle is not moving so we have no idea where they are.

SPOT "web site" keeps points for up to 30 days. The publically viewable web page (like we GPSOZ link to on our web page) only does the last 24 hrs. If you want the other 29 days you have to log into a "private" web page.

The GPSOZ truck has been locked in the garage for the last 2 weeks (ben on holidays). If you been checking you would have seen where we've been!
