Screen Designer

Hello - can someone tell me if the OziExplorerCE Screen designer program works with Hema Navigator? i.e. can you create and use custom screens? No theoretical answers please - need to know if it does or doesn’t.

If it doesnt what "standard" screens are available for use. Same as the default CE install on a normal PDA?

Cheers

Hi,

You cannot customise the screens for the Hema Navigator.

The unit is shipped with a custom Hema Navigator screen layout & is very user friendly.

I have been playing around with the screen designer supplied on Oziexplorer web site. yes you can change the screen layout on the Hema Navigator

Few tricks but basically works fine! Not for the faint hearted!!

Probably something that HEMA/VMS don't support or suggest you play with but yes it can be done.

cheers

Can the screen designer be used to modify the location of the Map Scale Bar? As the bar location is mobile around the screen I have managed to push it right off the top of the screen and can bring it back down. I have tried resetting the unit and reloading the ozice program but none of these has helped.

Silver
Go into view on the bottom toolbar. The scale can be turned on or off from in there. If the scale bar is so far off the screen that you cant move it, try resetting HN then go into view to turn it on or off
