Have VMS thought of using a program like GPS Gate so that you can split the signal from the GPS so that both of the GPS programs can run at the same time. I use this on my Laptop and find it works great. I find it a pain to exit one program to start the other.

Yes, good question - would enable saving a track while using Route 66 - I like that thought. Good one!
