If you haven't heard new pricing for SPOT has been announced A$229 plus 12 months free tracking. You still have to pay the US$115 rego fee.

Why has the basic plan been reduced to $99 in the USA but is still $115 here?

Plans for non USA residents have always been $us115. The extra covers the cost of the 200 SMS calls included in the plan for non US TELCO'S

Thanks Brian. Nothing is free these days. Looks like I will have to start using up my 200 'free' text messages before my 12 months runs out!

Gees, I wonder why European residents pay 99 Euros - that is USD145. Woh, that is a lot of 'free' text messages!
