Seting up new SD card for Ozi

Postby ljonesy1960 on Tue Sep 15, 2009 9:02 pm

I have tried without success to setup Ozi with a new 16Gb SD card to use with NSW topoview Raster 2006.

The 8 Gb card I got with the ANVC works fine but when I copied the Ozi 2 folder to the new card with Raster 2006 I continually get GPS signal lost.

Are there addional files I need to copy to the SD card to make it work.

Thanks for any assistance

Sounds to me likme th eunit is off doing something else instead of "talking: to the GPS. For example indexing maps. What version of Ozi are you running? Suggest upgrading to V2.31 where map indexing is greatky improved. How many maps do you have on your SD card? Are they all in one folder?

cheers
