Postby Michael Andrews on Mon Feb 09, 2009 7:01 am

Is the Hena Navigator worth its money? I am considering buying one but am unsure that I should spend that amount of money. Can any one of you that own one and have used it in town and out bush, please give me some feedback.

Hi Michael,
It depends on what you want from a gps. I use mine for geocaching and following old logging tracks and beach tracks. A lot of these tracks arn't on any maps I've ever seen, except on Google maps. With the HN, I can download Google maps of an area and load these onto the gps. Once callabrated the maps are very accarute to follow. I must say however that the HN is the only gps that I have used or owned, so I can't compare it with anything.

Picked mine up yesterday, so I'll let you know when I've used it more.
Cheers Steve
