I am thinking of getting Oztopo for my Streetpilot C510. Is the functionality limited in any way by this model ? With Oztopo loaded can I navigate to a location by GPS co-ordinates or even get my current GPS co-ordinates (even this is not possible on the C510 with City Navigator) If I do go ahead and purchase, am I going to see V3 out within a few weeks afterwards Will Version 3 be compatible with Streetpilot c510 or is it time to upgrade to a more recent, higher end model ?

No matter what maps you use, you can;t got a lat/long position on a C510. Its a function of the unit not the maps.

When V3 comes out there will be a free upgrade period, eg buy day x and if an upgrade comes out wihtin sy 4 weeks you'll get it at no charge. V3 is still some ways off.

New Nuvi's also add lat/oogn, track log, spoken hazard locations and much nicer graphics. Comes with ltest 2010 maps and 12 month warratny so may be yes for time an upgrde.
