I have just purchased a SPOT and have registered and activated it on the website. When it comes to setting up a profile and adding cell phone numbers there is no pop list with the various cell phone operators on it in Australia. According to the directions on the website the cell phone number should be a number followed by @cell phone operator address. Where do I get these details - my wife and I are signed up with Telstra and vodafone. There is a thread on this forum to the effect that australian operators are supported.
Also with regard to the GEOS subscription - I have included the $12 annual payment in my subs however would like my wife to be covered as she often goes walking in the national parks too. There was no field for additional family members ??
Another question - if one has 2 profiles set up for the SPOT how does one activate one profile over another ? By logging on to the website and selecting a specific profile before leaving ?
