I contacted Garmin following the installation of the latest MapSource...
message to Garmin:

still get the same message. I used a registry cleaner then tried
Mapsource again. Same message. I re-installed 20M contours - same
message. I cannot get MapSource to go any further than this message, and
cannot see any of my Garmin maps on my computer. This program (20M
Contours) used to work with my previous version of Mapsource... so how
do I sort the problem and get running again?

with this product so I have nothing to offer you in the way of help.
I would contact the vender of the 20m product and maybe a work around is
known by them.

It seems as though my only option is to uninstall ALL my Garmin stuff and re-install it!!!
"They" weren't at all impressed by the fact that OzTopo worked in perfect harmony with the earlier version of MapSource - and couldn't care less.
