I'd like to use OZtopo in the Garmin BaseCamp software on my Mac. I can't work out how to unlock it. Can someone help, please?

I'm a Mac user myself. As far as I know, it is not possible to load OZtopo into BaseCamp as OZtopo does not contain 3D DEM (digital elevation model) data. I believe BaseCamp can only display maps that contain DEM data. That means you would have to use Garmin's TOPO Australia or convert OZtopo and use it in RoadTrip. I've done the latter and it works.

@Brian: Are there any plans to add DEM to future releases of OZtopo? For me this is very important because I want to use OZtopo in BaseCamp, too. Unlike RoadTrip, BaseCamp comes with this "Track Tool" feature, which allows me to draw tracks manually. This is _very_ useful when planning 4WD trips! By the way, what's the status of the Mac version of OZtopo anyway? I converted the current version on a PC and it seems to work without any issues in RoadTrip. So it shouldn't be too hard for you to offer a Mac version of OZtopo?! I do not own a PC anymore and will not buy anymore maps that are not compatible with Mac. Maybe you can answer these two questions?

Isn;t there a track tool in Roadtrip? There is in Mapsource on Windose

Nope, for some reason there is no Track Tool in RoadTrip. RoadTrip is quite usable but it is not as feature-rich as Mapsource. Therefore it would be good if OZtopo was compatible with BaseCamp.
