help needed

Postby hemaroids on Sun Sep 06, 2009 6:27 pm

did a trip recently using ozi to trace where we went .saved file and know how to replay track
question is how do you locate the map you traced without having to play track replay.
can you get the map up with the blue trace so you can put in a route nav for next time? :?:

Hi, how about we get onto first names(please). What have you saved all your configuration settings at? For instance Track log distance, Track tail distance. Also you have to create the file paths for Maps and Data. If these are not right you can't save the Track log to file, therefore you cant bring it back with its map to the screen. My Navigator has had a hemorrhage and in a couple of days should have it back, then we can go through it to set yours up correctly, hope I am on the right track here. Les

Kim you need a few settings in Configuration to be able to save the track log and be able to recall it to screen. To save a Track Log,--
>File>--Log Track to File must be selected before creating it. Under Config >--Map and Data Files>-- Map and File path is (SDMMC Oziexplorer)--Datastorage is (HNOZIMaps) -- Data File path is (SDMMC Oziexplorer Data) .. When you have created a Track Log, either (Copy Track Log File) or (Export Track Tail to File) -- Then use the key board to rename it to be able to find it easily. Then you can delete that Track Log file. To recall it later to the screen open the map first--(File)> use either Import Track Tail from File, double click or OK it. Or from-- (View)> open Track Tool bar and select the named file in the Yellow folder, double click or OK it. Sounds a bit daunting but easy when you have done it a few times, try it each time you use the car, you wont loose it if you shut the HN down before saving it. Hope this helps . Les
