I have updated and have my old 2610 for sale. It has 2007 maps and is in good nick. Send email if you require further info but I was looking at around $350 for it.

Hi, have you still got your 2610? I'm interested in replacing mine which has a knackered screen. Thanks. 02 9328 6354

Apologies all. Replaced the 2610 with another unit but the new job is not as good so I will be hanging onto the old 2610. :D

I got a 250w (from you of course (as well as the 2610)) and while it does the job, I got spoilt with the ability to setup what information appears on screen such as elevation and speed while following a route. The only reason to 'update' was the cost of the 2008 maps as well as getting POI alerts.

I also liked the function for planning route/trip on the pc and then transfering them to the unit. I thought I would be able to retain this feature but alas... Having said that there is nothing wrong with the 250w as it is more portable having its own batteries.
