We have created a sample of OZtopo V2.1 which is available for download.

You must be using Mapsource V6.13.7 * see note below
You CANNOT download this sample from Mapsource to use on a GPS. It is purley for PC viewing.

During the install, you will be provided with a 25 digit unlock code. Make sure you take note of this code and enter it into Mapsource, Utilities, Unlock Maps...

We have udpated the sample download so that it nows works with Mapsource V6.14.1 and Training Centre 3.4.3.

Do I need a previous version of OzTopo to view this, as I loaded it into Mapsoure under the correct verison and all I get after registering it, is a blank screen.

No need for a previous version.

Your probably not in the right part of the world to see the sample Trying zooming out until you see somethine, then zoom in for more detail.

Or search for something like Long Reef, should zoom you straight into Griffith Park.

Let me know if that doesn't work for you!

Thanks Brian. I still cant see anything when I zoom out or in. But I finally located it by typing in Long Reef.

I have downloaded the sample version V2.1 but I do not get the option of entering unlock code in mapsource. The error I get says " unable to start the unlock wizard. Please reinstall this program.". Would this be a MapSource issue or V2.1 issue?

Hi All

My issue is 'locked maps detected' so how do I view the my V2.1 down load. As recommened have MapSource V6.13.7 loaded and its working fine.

Did you enter the unlock code provided to you during the installation process?

It doesn't work at all for me...downloaded fine and installed fine...keyed in code fine...I can swap back into V2 fine...but the sample is just a blocky mass of blue and biege...

Hmmm interesting....

When in OZtopo V2.1 smple, press Ctrl-G and see if that makes a difference.

Can you post a screen shot?

Did you install to the defult folder, ie c:/program files/oztopo V2.1 sample/? If not where to?

Can you check the contents of c/progam files/oz topo v2.1 sample/ and see if there is an IMGS folder and if so how many files in it?

I've just installed the latest version of Mapsource (6.15.6) and have run the OZtopo sample installer.

When I open up MapSource, I get a box titled "Locked Maps Detected". It shows the OZtopo sample as locked.

I click on "Unlock Maps" and get the "Map Product Manager". I click on the OZtopo sample to select it and.... then what? "Unlock Online..."?

Click the other tab, unlock regions, then the Add... box and enter the unlock code dispalyed during installation.
